Fernando Regazzo è nato ad Aosta (Italia) nel 1945. Il padre, musicista oltre che pittore e scultore è stato il suo primo maestro. Ha perfezionato lo studio della scultura sotto la guida di valenti maestri quali il Cileno S. Tapia Radic e il Canadese W. Mc Elcheran. Il suo interesse prevalente è per la figura: corpi di giovani donne, ritratti “a memoria”, maternità e studi di movimento nella danza, realizzati in terracotta ed in bronzo. Lo scultore si esprime con uno stile personale e moderno attento alla lezione dei maestri Italiani del 900.

 

          Fernando Regazzo was born in Aosta (Italy) in 1945. His first teacher was his father, a musician, painter and sculptor. Then he perfected his technique with two great masters: the Chilian sculptor S. Tapia Radic and the Canadian W. Mc Elcheran..His creativity is mostly inspired by the human body, which is seen in his figures of girls, ballerinas and mothers with child . The sculptor has a personal and modern style inspired by the great Italian masters of the 20th century.

 

          Fernando Regazzo est né à Aoste (Italie) en 1945. Son père, musicien, peintre et sculpteur, fut son premier maître. Il fréquenta assidûment des artistes de renom en Italie et à l'étranger, tels que le Chilien S.Tapia Radic et le Canadien William Mc Elcheran avec qui il travailla au Canada et aux Etats- Unis.La figure féminine inspire tout particulièrement Fernando Regazzo: il réalise en terre cuite et en bronze des corps de jeunes femmes des portraits à "mémoire", des maternités, des études de mouvements inspirés à la danse. Son style est personnel et moderne mais toujours attentif à l'enseignement des grands maîtres Italiens du XX siècle.
